Mylah’s obsession with fashion and all things glamour started when she was a young girl growing up in Los Angeles. At the age of 18, Mylah began her career in beauty. She moved to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming a makeup artist. She started her career working with musicians, and her first big break came when a mutual friend introduced her to Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs. Together, they traveled the world, with Mylah there to ensure that he always looked fresh. Mylah then began attending Fashion Week in Paris and Milan, and was introduced to some of the biggest photographers and directors in the world. Today, her impressive client list includes Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Shakira, Tracee Ellis Ross, Nicki Minaj, Jordin Sparks, Padma Lakshmi, Leona Lewis, B.B Rexha, Jesse J, Agnez Mo, Willow Smith, Storm Reid, and Taraji P. Henson – to name just a few. Her work has been in the spotlight of high profile ad campaigns for Dior, Samsung, Covergirl, Puma, Nike, and more. Her work has graced the most prestigious fashion publications in the industry, such as Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and W to name a few. Mylah is the force behind Rihanna’s iconic beauty looks, with whom she worked with for years.
